About The Creative

My work comments on the level of personal freedom that can be found within a free, democratic country, with specific reference to people performing their daily duties in my community. Much of my work is influenced by my childhood observations – growing up, I took note of everyone in my community going about their daily affairs and trying to maintain their livelihoods. I comment on the positives and negatives of these daily affairs, and those who have been delegated to performing the ‘neglected chores’. I am a multimedia artist who uses different mediums and materials, such as coffee as a wash, monoprint, charcoal, acrylic paint, and woodcut.
