This platform offers scientific researchers a source of creative expression in service of public engagement, education, and communication. It also enables freelance artists to access more opportunities for producing creative work with purpose.
Humusha is a collaboration between the South African Research Chair in Science Communication and VANSA. Together, we are working to produce a platform where applied artists and scientific researchers can find one another and work together. Visual communication is a key conduit that can bring together not only artists and scientists, but also scientific research and the public.
